AVON RACING was formed by Clive Hodgkin and his wife Christine in 1989 following his second overall win in the Alfa Romeo Championship.
As a qualified technical engineer (not a mechanic!), building and maintaining race cars came as second nature.
As a result of his success with race cars, clients were soon to persuade him to service, maintain and upgrade their road cars as well.
